Adrienne Williams' new site in sight

After participating in 5 shows throughout 2013—including an artist and artworks exchange in New Mexico, USA—this year has been a quiet studio year for Adrienne Williams with a couple of large commissioned pieces and gently exploring a new site for sketching and for a new series. A large hillside near Monto of enormous grass trees, with a bottle tree ridgeline above them, has been the latest play ground for Adrienne, who sketches plein air at the beginning and throughout a new series.

A new large work on paper ‘Flower Spike Dance, Monto’ has made it’s way to the Rio Tinto Martin Hansen Award in Gladstone, and smaller sketches are building for another year of exhibitions in 2015 at Red Hill Gallery and Gatakers Art Space.
