Two John Weeronga Bartoo shows

John Weeronga Bartoo has an exhibtion - Cotton and Paper - at Pepperina Gallery (Nobby. Ph: 4696 3353) which is on until 16 August. John is also taking part in the group exhibition - Weeronga Bartoo & Friends - at the Art & Crafts Gallery (Lightning Ridge. Ph: 02 6829 4407) which opens on 28 July (6pm) and runs to 10 August.

The inaugural Inkmasters Members exhibition

Laurel McKenzie, Margaret Genever and Sasi Victoire are part of the Inaugural Inkmasters Members Exhibition which is currently running at Circa 1907 Contemporary Artspace (City Place, Cairns, Qld) until 7 July. This newly-formed Cairns printmakers group is helping to bring wider public knowledge of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes.

Sue Beyer prepares for solo show

Sue Beyer, chosen as a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Art Prize, now has a series of small works on canvas paper available. The studies and small paintings were created in preparation for her first solo exhibition at the Art Factory gallery (South Brisbane, Qld) (26 - 30 August). The works painted from 2008 - 2011 are priced from $60.

Elizabeth Shaw at Artisan

Elizabeth Shaw's latest exhibition - Tool - opens in the crucible at Artisan (381 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, Qld Ph: 3215 0800) on 7 July (6-8 pm). Thursday 7 July. The exhibition will continue to 20 August.

Nicola Moss - new works on paper

Nicola Moss's recent series - Integral parts of therefore I am - exploring ecological connections of her immediate environment, is currently showing at Anita Traverso Gallery (7 Albert Street, Richmond, Vic. Nick Ashby at Redland Art Gallery

Nick Ashby's exhibition - copy/copy - opens at the Redland Art Gallery (Corner of Middle and Bloomfield Streets, Cleveland, Qld) on 17 July (11am) and continues then to 21 August.

Tony White - Waterlines

Waterlines is Tony White's first exhibition at Metro Arts Gallery (Studio 4.2, Level 4, 109 Edward St Brisbane, Qld. Ph: (07) 3002 710), and consists of paintings and work on paper which explore the role of water as an agent for ecological transformation. The show opens on Thursday 7 July (6-8.30pm) and runs to 9 July.

Robyn McMenamin - LIFE

Robyn McMenamin, along with Lucy Ward, has a new show - LIFE - which is now on at Graydon Gallery (Merthyr Rd, New Farm, Qld) and officially opens on Friday 6 May (6-8pm). The show includes still life, landscapes, marine themes and etchings and runs to 15 May.

Judith Kentish has a new show - from ideas of the mute - opening at Level (Level 1, 11 Stratton St, Newstead, Qld) on Saturday 7 May (6pm) which will run to 28 May.

TenPlusone at Gallery Nona

TenPlusone are holding their 4th Annual Exhibition at Gallery Nona (Brisbane Institute of Art, 41 Grafton St, Windsor, Qld). The exhibition opens Friday 20 May (6-9pm) and continues to 1 June.

Robyn Bauer does A-Z

Robyn Bauer is exhibiting 26 new works - Florilegium - An A-Z of chosen flowers - in the group exhibition - Up the Garden Path which runs at Pine Rivers Regional Gallery (199 Gympie Rd, Strathpine, Qld. Robert Brownhall set for Philip Bacon show and first survey

Robert Brownhall has an exhibition, followed by the first survey of his work opening in Brisbane. His 2011 exhibition opens at Philip Bacon Galleries (2 Arthur Street, Fortitude Valley) on 5 April. John Weeronga Bartoo at Gallery 307

John Weeronga Bartoo is part of an exhibition - Contemporary Aboriginal Art - running now at Gallery 307 (307 Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge, Sydney, NSW) along with noted artists Makinti and the Petyarre Family. The show runs until April 13. John has also been invited to be a finalist in the 2011 Tattersall's Art Prize. His solo exhibition at Galleria Zero in Barcelona has been extended as has a group exhibition in Galleria Bohner in Mannheim, Germany.

Nicola Moss exhibition at Salt Contemporary Art

Nicola Moss has a new solo exhibition - Diamonds in my eyes - opening on 16 April at Salt Contemporary Art Gallery (33-35 Hesse Street, Queenscliff, Victoria. Ph:03 5258 3988) and continuing to 6 May. Through her paintings, Moss examines the importance of the natural environment and notions about what we value. With diamonds and trees both essentially being carbon, she questions, could stately trees become the bling of the future?

Sam Creyton's 100 Pieces

Sam Creyton's wonderful exhibition of 100 small constructed and reconstructed works in mixed media can be seen at the Cairns Regional Gallery until 20 March. These works have a strong sense of design with an implied narrative that leaves space for interpretation.

New Steve Smart work at Artistic License and RSASAG

Steve Smart is showing works in several group show this month which open on Sunday 6 March at 2am. Distinctive Styles is at Artistic License Gallery & Studio (48 Melbourne St, North Adelaide, SA), and Up and Running can be found at Royal South Australian Society of Arts Gallery (Level 1, Institute Building, Cnr North Terrace and Kintore Avenue, Adelaide, SA) which is being held in conjunction with The Fringe and Adelaide Cup.

Judith Kentish shows Maatsuyker Island drawing

Judith Kentish is part of a Jill Barker curated exhibition called DRAWLING which opens at The Brisbane Institute of Art (41 Grafton Street, Windsor, Queensland) on Saturday 12 March, 4 -6 pm. Kentish will exhibit "from ideas of disturbance" a monumental work on paper completed during her recent residency on Maatsuyker Island, a remote lighthouse island off the coast of Tasmania.
